Acro-balance and a new hoop move.

Last night I really wasn't up for circus. I felt so tired and devoid of energy that all I really wanted to do was curl up on the sofa under a blanket, but I got up and went and am so glad I did. I figured out a new hoop move that involves spinning the hoop in a clockwise direction on the floor, catching it in the crook of my right knee and then with a turn and a leg pinch, spin the hoop and step the left foot into the hoop and hoop around the knees... I'll try to get a video of it as the description doesn't really do it justice.

I also did some Acro-balance with a new member, John, as you can see in the photo. I used to be a bit of a gymnast, but this really made me realise how inflexible my body has become over the years since I did that. I really need to get myself along to some yoga classes.

I wouldn't have had any of the fun I did if I'd stayed under the blanket, so thanks to all that came along and inspired me to have a go at new things and to play around with old props until I learned something new.
