Annual General Meeting

I'm sad to say that John Nash, due to many other commitments in his life, has decided he needs to step down as club secretary, so Cath and I feel the only fair thing to do is call an AGM and have a vote to elect all the club officer positions. This will be the first time since the club started that this has been done, so it gives all the members a chance to have their say on who runs the club. There are 3 positions to be voted on, Secretary, Treasurer and Chair.

The AGM will be on the 11th November 2010 8pm at the Alltwen Community Centre. There will be open nominations and votes by a show of hands.

I am aware we have some members that do not use the internet. If you could please spread the word, to everyone in the club that you have the phone number of, I would be most grateful. I will be contacting as many I can myself, but it won't hurt if all members could remind everyone they know in the club. The more people that are at the meeting the more the vote will reflect members wishes.
