Winter Challenge

Well Winter is well and truly here and at this time of year I start to feel really down, because of the lack of daylight and the cold, so to keep my mind off being grumpy and sad I like to set myself a challenge to occupy my time. It usually involves learning a new skill or a large project of creating something. This year I have decided I'm going to learn club swinging, yarn spinning and I want to finally get around to knit an anchor for the Pirate Pixie Crew ship. So those are the frosty paths of learning I will be on this season.

I'm also going to encourage you lot to take up the Winter Challenge. Think of a prop you have hardly ever used, or one you know a little bit about and get started increasing your skills. Set yourself some goals to reach over the winter months and document/video your progress. If you are feeling brave and would like to share your learning journey with us on the blog I'm more than happy to help you post it here, if not, just keep the information as a way of charting your progress. It will help you to see how far you have come.

If you let me know what you are learning I can post videos on the blog to help inspire you to keep going.

So who is up for a chilly winter challenge?
