What's with all the prancing?

Why do Russian Bar acts always seem to follow a similar route. They have 4 members of the troupe:- 2 bar holders, one flyer and one person that does very little, other than point at the flyer, prance around and encourages all the others to prance around too. This video is a perfect example of what I mean.

Now I challenge you to watch the full 7:03 minutes without having the urge to shout at the short haired girl, "why are you in this troupe? What is your role? Do you get paid as much as the flyer?" and to all of them in general "Stop bloody prancing about and get on with it!" Don't get me wrong, I admire the acrobatic skills and the hundreds of hours of training it must take to get this right, but where did this formula of four people come from and why so little acrobatic content compared to time spent prancing about like 8 year old ballet dancers at a Christmas show performed so their parents can see what their little darlings have learned?

I'd love to be linked to videos of Russian bar that involve no prancing about. If you find one please do add it to the comments on this post. Thanks!
