A Couple More Dates For the Calendar

We have a couple of gleeful dates added to the Calendar today.

Firstly we have International Day Of Happiness on 20th March 2013. This day was named by the UN General Assembly when recognising that in the worlds pursuit of economic growth there was a need for a more inclusive, equitable and balanced approach to economic growth that promotes sustainable development, poverty eradication, happiness and the well-being of all peoples. SO, I feel it is our duty, as members of the UN, to have a day filled spreading joy, fun and happiness. It can be as simple as smiling and greeting everyone you pass that day or setting up an event to celebrate having fun.
What will you do to make that Wednesday a day to remember?

Secondly, World Circus Day on 20th April 2013 is a chance for everybody who loves the circus to celebrate this unique art-form. Whether you are a circus performer, owner or operator, administrator, circus fan, community artist, professional or amateur circus artiste, or just somebody who loves dressing up, this is your day for telling the world, and your friends and family, just how special the Circus is. This is a Saturday, so I am proposing that we organise some kind of meet up with all the local circus groups to have some fun somewhere.

More Workshop/Focus Sessions For Your Calendar

I have more workshops and focus sessions for you to join in with. As always I will be adding all of these to the site calendar, so if you ever need to check what's going on each week, you will be able to see it there.

7th March - We will be having a games hour, at the request of Jess, as it is her Birthday this week. Silly games like Silent Cow and The Spaghetti Run will ensue.
14th March - Dave and Rob will be running a Stilt Confidence workshop.
21st March - The What Can You Juggle? workshop with Dan M
4th April - Beginner Staff Workshop with Rob and Dan M
11th April - Ball Juggling Workshop, all levels, with Steve, Pete, and Lynne
18th April - Performance & Clowning Games, lead by Pete
25th April - Contact Staff  with Siôn
3rd May - Beginner Hoop with Lynne
