Day 13 30/30 Challenge, Lynne

Tonight at Elephants was so much fun. We had a new member join and skipped, juggled and hooped together. It was good to see everyone joining in and working together. I practised some 4 hoop splitting and spent a while just dancing about with my hoop and then Cath, Vaughan and I worked on a step through hoop move passing a hoop back and forth between us. It reminded me that I really need to teach loads of people to do that move so we can make the giant circle of hoop step through and passes. We will have to get some video footage of it.

I know each day of practice that I do is helping me to improve and polish my hooping skills, but that is really only a by-product for me because the most important part of it for me is the fun I have and how hooping has boosted my enjoyment of life. This challenge has also reminded me that I like to hoop in a social way most of all. Sure, I love to have time on my own in the hoop, but the best times I have are when there are lots of us bouncing ideas off each other and working out new ways of using the hoops we have. I need to set up more hoop jams in South Wales. Time to spread the love of the wiggle even further.
