Southern Lights Tickets are now on sale

For all of you people that want to go to Southern Lights the tickets have gone on sale. You can buy the tickets here. There are 150 earlybird tickets that are £55. Once they have gone the price goes up to £68, so if you want to go get buying quickly. There are only 499 tickets in total. This festival is a small, but perfectly formed circus arts festival that consists of rough camping, circus workshops, fire and renegade shows as well as a big Saturday night show.

There are chemical loos and a small number of showers on site, but it is fairly basic. There is a drinking water tap on site too, so bring a large water container with you unless you want to walk back and forth all the time to get water supplies. Everything else you need to bring with you. Tents, bedding, stoves, food, drinks etc. There is a food stall, but I usually self cater, so can't really comment on what the food is like. The nearest supermarket is some distance from the site of the festival down some very windy roads, so getting all you need in one trip is probably best because you will be having too much fun to want to have to do the drive twice.

The festival site is within sight of the sea and there is a beach that you can walk to. It's a bit of a walk but it is through some really beautiful countryside, so it doesn't feel that far as you get to see wildlife, cows and trees on your walk. For those of you that fly, the site is situated at the bottom of a fairly high hill, but right behind that is an army tank range, so you would need to check up on if it would be ok to fly there. Maybe contact the Flame crew (organisers of this event) and ask them. They are very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly.

If you need any more information ask away and I'll try and answer any questions you have.
