I've been running hoop classes at the Circadian Fitness Dance Studio in Swansea for a few weeks now and the lovely Dawn (owner) has offered me a new 1 1/2 hour slot on a Wednesday evening at 6pm - 7.30 pm which means I can set up another beginners Class starting on the 16th November. It will be a 4 week course costing £37 per person. There are only 10 spaces on the course, so book now if you want a place.
The classes will start from the very beginning, with basic waist hooping and will work it's way through on and off body moves with the hoop, including arm, leg and foot hooping. Each member of the class will be encouraged to move at their own pace on their hooping path, so if you excel you will be shown more moves to try and if you are struggling you will be helped to move forward at your own rate.
Hooping is a great way to get fit & flexible and a fantastic way to make friends whilst have fun. Any time I take my hoops out to the park I get chatting to someone or other who wants to try out hooping. Everyone that passes smiles too. There is something magical about hoops that makes people happy. Add to that, you can burn between 400-600 calories an hour if you really wiggle a lot and you have the perfect form of exercise.
