Bring who you are into what you do.

Baxter is a well know person in the hooping world and I believe the reason for that is because he brings something different to hooping and is very eloquent in expressing himself both through his hooping and his words. Now everyone that hoops will show a little of themselves whilst they hoop, but people like Baxter really do give all of themselves to the experience of hooping and who they are just radiates out of them in their movements and flow.

If you give wholeheartedly to what you are doing, whatever prop you choose to express yourself with, it is inevitable that others will want to follow you and emulate you. If you seek to be someone that others emulate you probably putting more of your heart into being popular than into what you do, so will never capture peoples imagination.
